2020 LOS ALAMOS, NEW MEXICO PREDICTIONS
Broker Jenna's Opinion: The Los Alamos Market in 2020 has been off to a slow start due to the snowy weather conditions, but properties are now selling faster this year compared to last year due to the influx of new hires at LANL and other Laboratories in town! Last week only 6 houses were on the market in a single day, making inventory scarce and at a record-breaking-high in prices of homes. Now, more than ever is the time to buy property in the valley as it begins to fill up with Lab Employees also, as homes 20 minutes away are often found at half the price for twice the amount of land (and water rights too!).
If your focus is on the Los Alamos School District than sticking to Los Alamos County will be very important for you so contacting a Realtor such as myself can help you get a jump start on your home search. While 'For Sale By Owner' homes continue to climb in Los Alamos, approaching a home seller as a home buyer for a fair marketable price can be daunting, use a Realtor like myself to represent you in your legal and binding transaction and ensure you are getting a fair price.
